Project description:
The fellowship honors Dr. Alston S. Householder, founding director of the Mathematics Division at ORNL and recognizes his seminal research contributions to the fields of numerical analysis and scientific computing. Funding for the Householder Fellowship is supported by the Office of Advanced Scientific Computing Research of the U.S. Department of Energy. The purpose of the fellowship is to promote innovative research in applied mathematics and scientific computing.
