Posters

The following are important instructions regarding the poster sessions.

  • There are two poster sessions (Monday afternoon and Tuesday afternoon).  There will be about 50 posters on Monday and 50 posters on Tuesday.
  • Each poster is assigned to one and only one session.
  • Each poster is assigned a unique poster number (in the program). The poster number identifies the poster board to which your poster is assigned.
  • The area available to a poster on the poster board is 45" x 45".  Please prepare your poster accordingly.  (A rule of thumb for a good point size to use is between 18 points and 24 points.)
  • Please remove your poster at the end of the assigned poster session.
Time is allocated right before each poster session so that the poster presenters can provide summaries of their posters.  Here are the instructions for the poster summaries.

  • The summaries will follow the order as specified in the program.
  • Each poster presenter has up to 1 minute to summarize the poster.
  • Each poster presenter can use only a single slide.
  • Please send the 1-page slide in PDF format to me (dazevedoef@ornl.gov) so that I can compile the slides for the entire poster session into a single PDF file.  This eliminates the need to switch laptop.  The deadline for submitting the slide is Wednesday, October 12, 2011.  The first line on the slide should be the poster number and the name of the poster presenter.
  • Please use the file naming convention "poster_09.pdf" for the summary of poster number 9.
  • Please use the email subject "Poster Summary" in your email.
