DIRECTIONS
The Brunswick’s Golden Isles Airport (BQK) is less than a 30 minute drive from Jekyll Island, and is served by daily flights on Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA/Delta Connection), to and from the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport (ATL). Rental cars and hotel shuttles are available to and from the Airport. International airports in Savannah (SAV) and Jacksonville (JAX) are both just a short 60-minute drive from Jekyll Island. Both airports offer rental car and limousine services. Flying your own plane? Not a problem: Private pilots may use the Jekyll Island Airport (09J).
As one of Georgia’s 13 barrier island, Jekyll Island is located just off the Georgia coast, midway between Savannah, and Jacksonville. Neighbored to the north by St. Simons Island, and to the south by Cumberland Island, Jekyll is separated from the mainland city of Brunswick by an approximately six-mile causeway. Jekyll Island is convenient to Interstate-95. To get to the island on I-95, take Exit 29 and follow the signs east on U.S. 17 for approximately 6 miles. Turn right onto the Downing Musgrove Causeway (Ga-520). Proceed on the Causeway East 6 miles to the Jekyll Island collection station ($6 park entry fee). Make the first left (U-turn) and move to the far right lane. This is Riverview Drive and takes you directly to the front of the Jekyll Island Club Hotel.
Parking Pass
Vehicle entry to Jekyll Island requires a valid parking pass which must be purchased at the Guest Information Center and Plaza upon arrival on the island. This pass allows you access to many of the island’s public parking and outdoor areas, including picnic areas, beach parking and access points, National Historic Landmark District, fishing piers, bicycle trails and more. A one-day parking pass is valid for one vehicle, for one day. Multi-day passes, as well as annual passes, are available for your convenience. Passes may be purchased at the Guest Information Center and Plaza entry point to the island. Limo reservations must be made by phone. Call the Hotel at (855) 535-9547; press "5" and have the front desk connect you to transportation. 48 hour advance notice is required for limousine reservation.
