Problem: How to form a common operational picture (COP) from hundreds of distributed data sources?

Tested Hypothesis: Thousands of agents, each working on respective data sources, can provide such a picture

1 Terabyte (1000 Giga bytes) of astrophysics simulation data from 194 sources

1000 agents, each deployed to create an operational picture for 120 time steps of a 3-D matrix of ~33 million units density, for 5 variables

Successfully demonstrated results at Supercomputing 2002. Each time step governed by an oversite agent which redraws COP with most recent information
