How to add Images

Insert Powerpoint Graphics

There are many great tools for generating images, diagrams, and
fancy text. A popular tool is Powerpoint. Here are the steps to put
your Powerpoint images onto a notebook page with other text.

Step 1
Using Powerpoint create anything you like on a "slide"
(you can also do this with a whole set of slides)
Step 2
Under Powerpoint's "File" menu click on "Export to HTML" and follow directions.
Place the output in a directory like c:\temp
Step 3
In this directory the slides will be converted into GIF images
with names like: img001.gif, img002.gif, ... or sld001.gif, ...
Using the steps for "Inserting a Photo", place each of your
Powerpoint images on one or more pages of the notebook.

Here is an example of a Powerpoint slide which includes clip art, an image, fancy text, and diagrams. It illustrates the ability of the notebook to leverage existing tools. Many of which have much more sophisticated capabilites than the simple sketchpad.
