Where in the Local Group is Al?
The clump of galaxies around the Milky Way is called the Local Group.
The group is about 2 million light years across
and includes the Andromeda Galaxy
(the only spiral galaxy besides our own in the group).
The two nearest galaxies are the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds.
