Introduction to the Blood Beryllium Lymphocyte Proliferation Test

Following is a brief description of the protocol for the BeLPT culture assay as established by CABST and implemented by the BeLPT laboratory at Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) as of July 1993. This is part of the ORISE study of beryllium workers at the Oak Ridge Y-12 Plant

In the protocol now in use at ORISE BeLPT Laboratory Section IV- Data Reduction is based on the LAV analysis of the log well counts as described in this report.
