Research in Biostatistics and Epidemiology

Support work related to health and environmental issues through research in biostatistics and collaboration with epidemiologists, biologists, computer scientists, and health physicists.

Specific Objectives:

1. Improve the statistical methodology for the evaluation of health risks in occupational cohorts
2. Develop effective methods of data analysis and interpretation
3. Emphasize is placed on the evaluation and application of computationally intensive statistical methods
4. Development of Poisson regression methods and application to the analysis of count data
5. Collaborative efforts are directed at the planning, analysis, and interpretation of observational studies, biological experiments, and exploratory data analysis.
