Instrumented ttcp (ttcp100) We have instrumented the ttcp code--developed by Terry Slattery and Mike Muuss(1985)--so we might "see into" the kernel by displaying the desired web100 variables at end of a transfer. For more information, see: http://www.csm.ornl.gov/~dunigan/netperf/web100.html All software written or modified for research purposes is in constant flux and must come with the usual disclaimers. What you are seeing is a snapshot in time as, most certainly, we are currently modifying it to try out new ideas. This software comes with NO WARRANTY! contents -------- - README_TTCP100 - source code: ttcp100.c web100api.c web100api.h - web100_variables: a sample file of web100 variables to display - ttcp100-make: a sample makefile requires -------- - a machine running a kernel.org linux-2.X.XX kernel with the latest web100 patches applied and the web100-userland api installed-- (http://www.web100.org)(You may need to alter the makefile to point to your userland installation) feedback -------- We are interested in your feedback and the results of any tests you may run.
