The Bandwidth Tester

The Bandwidth Tester is a java applet written to test inbound and outbound 
TCP bandwidth from your browser to a web server here at ORNL.  We added the 
tcp kernel variables made available in a web100/net100 kernel to get a 
clearer picture of what is going on in the network during a test.

As with all software written for research purposes, this software is in 
constant flux and must come with the usual disclaimers.  What you are 
seeing is a snapshot in time as, most certainly, we are currently modifying 
it to try out new ideas.
