Almost TCP Over UDP (ATOU) ATOU is a UDP TCP-like transport that serves as a test-harness for experimenting with TCP-like controls at the application level. ATOU grew out of our efforts to improve bulk transfers over high-speed, high-latency networks. The official web page for ATOU: http://www.csm.ornl.gov/~dunigan/netperf/atou.html This page also contains a link to a tech report presenting data collected in transfers run with atou. All software written for research purposes is in constant flux and must come with the usual disclaimers. What you are seeing is a snapshot in time as, most certainly, we are currently modifying it to try out new ideas. This software comes with NO WARRANTY! contents -------- - README_ATOU - source code: atoucli.c atousrv.c scoreboard.h - config: a sample configuration file - atou-make: a sample makefile feedback -------- We are interested in your feedback and the results of any tests you may run.
