PSL Example

This simple example shows the exchange of manufacturing processes between two applications, Application Y and Application Z using PSL. Application Y is a planner that identifies which resources are used for each process. Application Z is a scheduler that identifies a simple order of precedence between resources and processes. This example uses an old version of PSL.

• A textual version of application Y scenario
• Application Y scenario expressed in KIF
• A translation from Y into PSL. The result is the Y scenario using PSL concepts.
• Application Z scenario expressed in text
• Application Z scenario expressed in KIF
• A translation from Z concepts into PSL. First, Z scenario expressed in terms of PSL. Second, for each PSL concept, an expression in Z is proposed.
• The result of Application Z encapsulating Application Y.
