The Fundamental Constants of Nature from Lattice Gauge Theory Simulations

The fundamental laws of nature as we now know them are governed the fundamental parameters of the Standard Model. Some of these parameters, such as the masses of the quarks, have been hidden from direct observation by the confinement of quarks. They are now being revealed through large scale numerical simulation of lattice gauge theory.
