MPEG Animations

For many applications, viewing data (especially time sequences) as an animation provides valuable insight and analysis -- information not as easily obtained from still images.

Ultra Light Steel Auto Body crash simulation (931 KB)
Sport Utility Vehicle crash simulation (1.82 MB)

Forensics movies

Head Slices: an 875K mpeg movie. The data is the physical slice dataset of the Visible Human Project.

Rotating Head: an 1.5MB mpeg movie. The isosurface was created from the CAT scan data of the fresh cadaver in the Visible Human Project.

Skull to Skin: an 965KB mpeg movie. The isosurfaces were created from the CAT scan data of the fresh cadaver in the Visible Human Project.

Mold Filling
  • Tilt/pour mold filling of engine bracket (146 KB)
