Welcome to the 4^th Annual OSCAR Symposium. This year's symposium is again co-hosted with the International Symposium on High Performance Computing Systems and Applications (HPCS2006). The conference is being held at Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. We look forward to seeing you in May!

OSCAR is a widely used cluster installation and management toolkit. The software is a snapshot of best known methods for building, programming and using clusters. The project is an open effort among industry, academic and research groups to help simplify the setup and management of computing clusters.
