• TORC: a 20 processor PII 266Mhz cluster connected by multiple backplanes (gigabit ethernet, myrinet, ATM, 100 BT ethernet)

• 4 Maximum Strategy, Inc. Gen 4 disk subsystems; 216 GB.
• DEC Storageworks disk array; 464 GB.
• IBM SSA disk array; 560 GB.
• 2 IBM 3494 libraries, one with eight and one with four 3590 (MagStar) drives; 114 TB with 2:1 compression.
• StorageTek 4400 library with 4 Timberline (linear) and 2 Redwood (helical) drives; 3.5 TB with older-model linear tapes, up to 220 TB with Redwood tapes.
• IBM RS6000 Servers (three R24, one 980, three F50, several smaller ones); Memory: 512 MB on each.
