High Performance Computing Section Archival page 2002

The High Performance Computing Section provides systems and operations support for a range of high performance computing and storage systems used by scientists and engineers working on problems of national importance. Systems supported include the Center for Computational Sciences (CCS) high performance computing and storage systems and the ORNL production mass storage system hardware and software.

Computer Operations-- A. S. Bland
provides 24/7 operations coverage of CCS high performance computing and storage systems
Computer Systems-- R. A. Alexander
provides systems administration for CCS high performance computing systems and CSM workstations
Storage Systems-- R. D. Burris
provides administration and support for ORNL production high performance storage systems and participates in the development of HPSS, the High Performance Storage System software product.
User and Applications Support-- B. A. Riley
administers user accounts and provides consulting support to users of CCS high performance computing systems
