Division Computing Resources
CSM computing environment includes a network of
Unix workstations; Unix, Linux and NT servers;
experimental and production clusters; PCs and Macs;
notebook computers; and a variety of network
communications equipment, including wireless LANs. For production computing,
CSM staff may request access to:
- CCS and NLCF systems (some of which are
allocated through the DOE INCITE program),
- ORNL Institutional Cluster (OIC), 2 units
are owned by CSM (contacts: Srdjan Simunovic and Bobby Sumpter),
- IBM Power 4 (Cheetah) and Cray XD1
(Tiger) administered by JICS (contact: Ann Baker),
- Fundamental Research Enclave (contact: Michael Summers).
The TORC cluster is reserved for use by TORC project members.
