Computational Sciences Section

The Collaborative Technologies group mission is to develop advanced collaborative technologies and other related technologies to support interdisciplinary researchers and decision makers in areas of importance to DOE, including scientific simulation and modeling, enterprise management, remote instrumentation, disaster management, and engineering design and management.

Imagine intelligent software agents roaming newspaper sites, gathering information, and organizing articles for military analysts.

Imagine being able to visualize the effects of a chemical disaster factoring in the location, weather, chemical properties, and population.

The Collaborative Technologies Group (CTR) leverages millions of dollars invested in research breakthroughs ranging from Agent technology, to Cluster analysis, to Information integration. We work in small teams of researchers and software engineers to produce solid, high-quality, and reliable project deliverables. We have expertise in agent technology, XML, RDF, Java, software engineering
