Intelligent and Emerging Computational Systems Section

The Computational Intelligence group carries out basic and applied research in a broad range of related fields, including cooperating autonomous robotics, control of constrained mechanical systems, mobile manipulators, and lossy data base compression. CI applies its research results developments to a variety of areas of opportunity, such as hazardous domains, geophysical analysis medical applications of passive motion, and electronic commerce. Research efforts include analytical research and hardware based evaluations of analytical results. A portion of the group's activities is carried out as part of the Center for Engineering Systems Advanced Research (CESAR).
