Implementation of HPSS on an AIX 4.3.3 system
This low-priority project sought to demonstrate that HPSS 4.1 could be compiled and operated on a version of AIX that was more recent than the version upon which HPSS was fully tested and certified. Having tested various hardware and software devices and general system operation with no problems encountered, we have decided to call the project "complete". We expect to do similar work in the future (i.e., run a current HPSS release on later releases of infrastructure products).
