HPCwire Announces Results of the HPCwire Annual Readers' and Editors' Choice Awards at Supercomputing Conference (SC|05) in Seattle

25 Readers' Choice Awards and 23 Editors' Choice Awards Announced Based on Voting by HPCwire Readers and Editors Worldwide

Seattle, WA - November 15, 2005 - Tabor Communications Inc. (TCI), publisher of HPCwire, GRIDtoday and producers of the GRIDtoday Executive Summits on Grid and Service-Oriented IT, revealed the winners of HPCwire's annual Readers' and Editors' Choice Awards at the 18th annual Supercomputing Conference (SC|05) in Seattle, Washington.

HPCwire has designated two categories of Awards: (1) Readers' Choice, where winners have been determined by a random poll of a sample of HPCwire readers, and (2) Editors' Choice, where winners have been determined by votes of a panel of recognized HPC luminaries, and contributing editors from industry.

These awards are widely recognized as prestigious recognition from the HPC community.

"Each year, HPCwire and its readers recognize the instrumental acts and accomplishments that are paving the way in the HPC industry as we continually push the edge of high performance computing", said Tom Tabor, publisher, HPCwire and GRIDtoday. "We are very proud to take time each year to offer citations of excellence in honoring the leaders in this industry. The spirit of this award has always been community- oriented, as we look to our readers and industry luminaries to make the determination on who is deserving of recognition for the year. It is indeed an honor to reveal the winners of these prestigious and highly anticipated awards."
