I was born and raised in Clarksville, TN. It is the 5th largest city in Tennesee, but it has a small town feel and that good ol' southern hospitality on every corner. It is a gorgeous city with many parks, including Dunbar Cave State Park pictured at the left. I have a fairly small family. They came to the U.S. from France because my grandfather was in the U.S. Army. I am very close with my family. They mean the world to me! I love animals, especially dogs! I have two dogs, a Pom-A-Poo named Bijou and a Chow/Husky/Lab mix named Buddha.
I played softball for 11 years and I miss it and still love it very much! My favorite baseball team is the Atlanta Braves and my favorite player is John Smoltz. I love doing things that get my adrenaline pumping like watching scary movies, riding roller coasters, and white water rafting! I collect piggy banks, cute boxes, and various items from around the world.
Throughout high school, I was fortunate enough to "just get it." That is, until my first introduction to physics! I took the class my senior and it presented the first challenge of my academic career. Most would have been discouraged, but I dove in head first! I had finally found something that made me want to do my homework, and want to study. The challenge makes it more interesting and worth while. When I figure out a problem, or finally "get" a concept I feel like I have really accomplished something. No other subject can give me that feeling. I am so lucky to have found something that I truly love!
After completing my B.S. in physics at APSU I plan on attending graduate school and working towards a Ph.D. in aerospace engineering.
