Special Thanks to Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Department of Energy, and Fisk University for giving me the opportunity to learn beyond the walls of a Computer Science and Psychology. My knowledge and respect for the field of Computational Biology has grown. I didn't really expect to learn much or enjoy doing this research once I received my research tasks, but over the course of the program I have learned a lot and I appreciate all the assistance and patience that was given to me by Mr. Praveen Charamohom, Mr. Robert Day, Dr. Andrey Gorin, Dr. Micheal Leuze, and Dr. Hayes McDonald.

Thank you to my roommates, Sabrina Phillips and Veranda Moffett for making my living experience unique, and to those Alabama A&M men, Trayvon Leslie, Lamont Johnson, and Christopher Randall, I would like to thank you guys for making everyone's summer experience enjoyable. To my FISKITES and the rest of the RAMS Program Participants, this summer has been a challenging one. We had to endure some unwanted looks, comments, and phone calls but we made it.:) I hope we all keep in touch over the coming months and I wish all of you, especially those rising seniors, the best of luck this year.
